When it comes to Ranbir, specifically, he has time and again proved that he's a devoted father. Whether it's learning a Malayalam lullaby or getting a tattoo dedicated to his daughter, Ranbir’s love for Raha has always made all of us say aww. 

On Ranbir's birthday today (Sep 28), here we take a look at five moments that prove Ranbir is the ultimate dad in Tinsel Town. 

Raha tattoo

One of the most precious things. Ranbir had a tattoo of his daughter's name, Raha, on his collarbone. The actor showed off his tattoo while he was promoting his movie Animal in 2023.

Lullaby for her

During her appearance on the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2, Alia talked about the fun bond that Ranbir and Raha share. 

Talking about adorable family moments, the actress revealed that he learnt the Malayalam lullaby ''Unni Vava Vo'' for Raha.

"He even sings 'Unni Vava Vo'. It is a lullaby. Our nurse has been singing it to Raha since day one. So, when Raha wants to sleep, she says, ‘mama vavo, papa vavo’. That is her cue to go to sleep. Now, Ranbir has even learnt lullaby for her."

When Ranbir called Raha's birth the most precious moment

Talking about fatherhood with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir recalled the first time when he held Raha after his birth, describing it as the most precious moment of his life. 

He shared, “The top moment of my life was my daughter’s birth. Till the time she was born and Alia was pregnant, you imagine it right, you don’t feel it, she is feeling it because the baby is in her. But when she was born and the doctor gave her in my hands, it’s a feeling you can’t describe. It’s like somebody has taken my heart and put it in my hands. It’s the love of your life, it’s too good. It’s too good. Never felt like that about anybody or anything in life.”

Quit smoking for Raha

In the same interview with Nikhil, Ranbir shared that a lot has changed since the birth of her daughter as he went on to reveal that he has finally quit smoking post her birth.

“I started smoking cigarettes which became a very nasty habit from the age of 17 till last year when I finally quit. When I became a father, I started feeling very unhealthy,” he said.

Spend all time with Raha

Since welcoming Raha, Ranbir never leaves a single moment when he can talk about his daughter and express his feelings for her. 

Talking about spending time with Raha, the Animal actor once said that he doesn't want to work and spend all his time with her. 

During a press meet in Hyderabad, Ranbir said, “I only want to spend time with her. I want to stop acting, stop working. That’s all I want to do but I cannot do that. I want to pursue my passion also. But it’s very joyful. It’s the most happy I have been in my life. When God takes away something, he also gives you something and I am very grateful that Raha has come into our lives.”
