Makers dropped the trailer of Sobhita Dhulipala’s new film titled Love, Sitara.
Sobhita plays the role of a girl named Tara who cancels her destination wedding so as to reevaluate if she wants marriage in her life, what this romance means to her and more. The film is directed by Vandana Kataria and will stream on ZEE5.
The trailer for Love, Sitara is just a little less than three minutes and opens with Tara confiding in her friends about her change of heart—despite her earlier reluctance, she now wants to get married. She meets Arjun, a chef portrayed by Rajeev Sidhhartha, and they soon decide to tie the knot.
Arjun visits Tara’s family in Kerala, their chosen wedding destination.
As her family meets the going-to-be groom, Tara’s Ammuma (grandmother) is disappointed because Arjun is from North India.
Arjun realises that Tara’s family hides numerous secrets and lies beneath their happy facade. The situation takes a turn when Tara suspects her father of having an affair with Aunt Hema (Sonali Kulkarni).
As she sees her precarious situation because of trouble back home, she calls off her wedding. The film then explores the ‘why and how’ behind the what.
