Justin Timberlake had a heartfelt talk with his fans following his recent DWI arrest for drunk driving. He addressed his fans following the arrest in his second show on June 22 at the United Center in Chicago, as part of the Forget Tomorrow World Tour. He thanked his fans for sticking with him amid all the controversy.

Justin Timberlake addresses fans at concert

Justin said, “This [tour] is just something that keeps watching over me, more so on this tour than any other."

“And that’s that mostly all of us here in this room tonight, in this arena tonight, have grown up together. So many of you come up to me and say, ‘I grew up with you, man.'”

He added, “I want each and every one of you to know I’ve grown up with you. You have been such a big and beautiful part of my life and sometimes I can’t find the words to show my gratitude that you guys just keep riding with me and riding with me.”

Justin has been a darling of controversies and it spiralled more after Britney Spears, his one-time girlfriend, accused Justin of dumping her when she was highly sensitive. He got a lot of hate from Britney’s fans. 

Justin acknowledged that his fans have been with him throughout his career and said, “I just wanna say you guys keep loving me and coming back and spending and sharing this experience with me. And from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know that until I’m somewhere off this earth, I will never forget each and every one of you. You made my life so special. And tonight in Chicago, you have made us feel loved.”

Of the drunk driving incident, Justin said, “It’s been a tough week. I know I’m hard to love sometimes, but you keep loving me right back.”

Justin Timberlake’s next show is scheduled for June 25 at Madison Square Garden in NYC where he will perform for two nights.
