It’s baby no 4 for Hilary Duff!
The Lizzie McGuire actress shared a sweet Instagram post as she announced that she and her husband Matthew Koma have welcomed a new baby in their lives. Hilary delivered her newborn at home in a water birth. She shared details of the birth along with the name of her little one.
Here's what she wrote on Instagram
Sharing on Instagram, Hilary wrote, "Townes Meadow Bair 🧸 , now we know why she made us wait so long…She was perfecting those Cheeks!"
Hilary Duff added, "I have been dreaming of holding you in my arms for months and the past 5 days of getting to know you, stare at you and smell you has been pure moments of magic."

Hilary Duff teased her fourth pregnancy in December with a Christmas card
It was in December 2023 that Hilary Duff revealed that she and Matthew were extending their family and were expecting a baby soon. The duo has four kids– Luca, Banks, Mae and now Townes. Their names are Mae James, 2½, and Banks Violet, 5. The duo co-parent Hilary Duff’s eldest, Luca Cruz, 11, with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie.
In December, Hilary had posted a Christmas card which featured a photo of her cradling her baby bump. She had then written, "So much for silent nights. Love, the Duff-Bair-Comrie Crew," the front of the card read, while the back had the words, "Buckle up Buttercups, we're adding one more to this crazy bunch!" written on them.
Hilary Duff is a hands-on mom. The singer-actor has on several occasions spoken about loving motherhood. In an interview with PEOPLE, Hilary said, "I love when everyone's full of energy and the house is buzzing. You never know what the day is going to bring or what your kid's going to say. We're in the thick of it, and it feels good.”
