Sobhita Dhulipala radiated a bridal glow as she kickstarted pre-wedding functions. The actress is all set to tie the knot with Naga Chaitanya. On Monday, Sobhita took to Instagram to share photos from the pre-wedding festivities at her hometown in Vishakapatnam. 

The post has Sobhita looking beautiful in an orange-green and cream colour saree, taking part in traditional rituals along with her family and friends. The photo series is captioned as, Godhuma Raayi Pasupu danchatam. And so it begins!”

Sobhi and Naga Chaitanya announced their engagement in August this year. Naga’s superstar father, Nagarjuna, made the news public. Naga and Sobhita, so far have had a low-key romance after Naga Chaitanya’s divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhi in 2021. 

News of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s relationship came to light last year, but the two have faced a certain amount of criticism from certain sections on social media. The news of their engagement too was met with mixed responses.

Soon after her photos went online, the netizens flocked to the comment section to drop reactions. “One thing that we should appreciate you is, no matter how much hatred is surrounded by you on social media, you are just moving on with what you like....!!!” wrote a user. Another said, “You are one strong lady ... More power to you... By the way beautiful saree!!! Infact everything is so beautiful to see.”  

Naga’s relationship with Sobhita sparked rumours of infidelity as the reason behind his divorce, however, Samantha has dismissed the rumours. 

The wedding date has not been announced by either Naga or Sophita yet.
