Munawar Faruqui, well-known comedian and Bigg Boss 17 winner, got married for the second time in a private ceremony recently.Reports state that Munawar tied the knot over the weekend and it is believed that actress Hina Khan might have attended the intimate affair.
Aphoto is circulating online claiming that it was taken at Munawar’s wedding. The photo did not feature Munawar, instead, it features the wedding of two Ms.
The picture has left fans to believe that Munawar has had a secret wedding although details about the bride are not know. Fans have speculated that Munawar has married a woman named Mehzabeen Coatwala, who is said to be a make-up artist.

“Yes, Munawar is now married. Usne shaadi kar li hai. Woh yeh sab under wraps rakhna chahta hai tabhi koi khass pictures bhi nahi milega apko. (He got married. He wants to keep it under wraps; hence, you would not find any pictures of the two),” an insider told Times Now. “Only the couple’s near and dear ones were present for the ceremony. It was an extremely close-knit function,” the source added.

While the report suggested the wedding took place 10 to 12 days ago, the leaked photo claims the ceremony took place on Sunday, May 26.
Some reports suggest Munawar’s close friend Hina might have attended the ceremony. Hina had recently shared a selfie on social media with the background song ‘Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.’
The news of his wedding comes days after it was reported that Munawar was hospitalised. On Friday, a Bollywood paparazzo shared a screenshot of Munawar’s friend’s Instagram story which featured a photo of the stand-up comedian lying in a hospital bed. “Wishing all the strength to my brother, Munawar. Get well soon,” Munawar’s friend wrote on the photo.
In an episode of Bigg Boss 17, the controversial star had revealed his first marriage was arranged by his family. However, the wedding did not work out. He shares a son with his ex-wife. When asked about why the marriage didn’t work out, Munawar chose not to answer, saying, “I don’t want to talk about her. It just didn’t work out.”
