Jennifer Aniston to play the first LGBT female President in new film
In what can be seen as a fresh change, one of the most touted Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston will now take up the role of the first LGBT female president in a new film for streaming giant Netflix.
Netflix announced the news earlier today as Jennifer will star as President of the United States Beverly Nicholson in new political comedy film titled “First Ladies”. The film will also star comedian Tig Notaro as Jennifer’s wife and First Lady of the United States.
The actress Tig will also be co-writing the film with her real life wife Stephanie Allynne. The storyline is said to be based on their own original pitch to the platform.
In a press release, Netflix said, “When Beverly and Kasey Nicholson move into the White House, they’ll prove that behind every great woman... is another great woman.”
“First Ladies” will be produced by Tig, Stephanie and Jennifer along with Will Ferrell. So far, only this cast has been confirmed.
In another news, the “Friends” star will also be seen in upcoming series for Apple about morning TV show hosts alongside Reese Witherspoon.
