US builds mega diplomatic fortress in Lebanon with CIA cells, detention centres

The United States is building a $1 billion embassy in Beirut, Lebanon, which will be the second largest in the world, after Iraq’s. Questions are already being raised about the embassy. Why spend $1 billion of taxpayer money on an embassy in a country with only around 86,000 American citizens? Is this truly just an embassy, or is it a fortress for secret operations in West Asia?
