'Unprecedented weather' in the Australian state of Queensland said Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, sparked 40 bushfires across the state on Monday, as emergency services tried to put containment lines around the fire zones. Palaszczuk added that conditions were worse than those of 2009 when the fire burnt through more than 11,500 hectares of bushland, and this entire week would see heatwave conditions across the state.
