The United Nations Security Council has passed a resolution demanding that Iran immediately halt attacks on Gulf states, calling the strikes a breach of international law. The resolution, led by Bahrain and co-sponsored by India, was adopted with 13 votes in favour and two abstentions.
The council urged Tehran to cease hostilities against countries in the Persian Gulf, warning that continued escalation could threaten regional stability and global energy security.
