Budhi Gandaki river floods devastate central Nepal villages

Fresh flooding has hit Nepal’s Gorkha district after a landslide blocked the Budhi Gandaki River, triggering downstream floods that swept away homes, damaged infrastructure and disrupted trekking routes. More than 100 foreign trekkers were reportedly stranded, while authorities rescued hundreds of people and continued relief operations.
