UK-Australia sign landmark 50-year defence treaty

Britain and Australia have signed a landmark 50 year treaty under the AUKUS Defence partnership. The deal announced during ministerial talks in Sydney, deepens military and industrial cooperation between the two nations. Defence ministers called it the most significant pact between the two countries since Australia’s federation.
