TVK Pays Tribute To Mullivaikkal Victims, Backs Sri Lankan Tamils
Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam expressed solidarity with Sri Lankan Tamils while remembering the victims of the Mullivaikkal tragedy, which marked the final and deadliest phase of the Sri Lankan civil war. The war officially ended on May 18, 2009, after intense fighting in Mullivaikkal.
