Trump tariffs: Indian exports face fresh US tariff shock
Donald Trump’s fresh 25 percent tariff on India has raised alarms across businesses in India and the US. The new tariffs are similar to the reciprocal duty rate of 26 percent announced earlier this year, which was later delayed to August first. More importantly, the additional penalties on India's purchases of Russian oil and military equipment and association with the BRICS group is a bigger worry.
