Sri Lanka to consider trade in Indian rupee

After the signing of a currency pact between India and the United Arab Emirates, Sri Lankan president Ranil Wickremesinghe has made a statement hinting at settling Sri Lanka's trade in the Indian rupee. The Sri Lankan president said that he would like to see the Indian rupee being used as much as the US dollar for foreign trade.
