Russia-Ukraine Crisis: Moscow claims over 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers surrender in Mariupol

Russia’s defense ministry has said that more than 1,000 Ukrainian soldiers had surrendered at the besieged Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol. The ministry also added that those in need of medical care were transferred to a hospital in the town of Novoazovsk.
