India and Russia recently concluded joint Naval exercises in the Bay of Bengal the Russian defence Ministry says the drills were aimed at strengthening Naval cooperation between Moscow and New Delhi. Moscow highlighted the need for the drills to jointly counter global threats and ensure the safety of civilian shipping in the Asia-Pacific region.
