Thousands of visitors have been drawn to the Icelandic volcano which erupted on March 19 as it continues to spew out lava. Since the eruption started, people have hiked to the site on the Reykjanes Peninsula, some 30 kilometres southwest of the capital, hoping to be awed by the rare lava fountains.
