Pakistan is bracing for an intense heatwave, with temperatures expected to SOAR well above seasonal averages across large parts of the country this week. The Pakistan meteorological department has issued a nationwide alert, warning that some areas could see temperatures touching a scorching 51 degrees celsius over the next several days.
