The Ministry of Defence has issued a strong clarification following reports questioning the government’s transparency regarding the six military personnel who made the supreme sacrifice during Operation Sindoor in May 2025. Officials have categorically rejected claims that these heroes were only recently acknowledged, confirming that their valour was recognized through gallantry awards as early as August 2025.
