Operation Shield: Civil Defence mock drill in state bordering Pakistan postponed
The Ministry of Home Affairs has postponed the nationwide Operation Shield civil defence mock drill scheduled for May 29 in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Chandigarh, Jammu, and Haryana due to administrative reasons. The exercise, aimed at enhancing emergency preparedness in border states, will be rescheduled, with Punjab planning to conduct it on June 3. Haryana, however, will proceed with its drill as planned.
