Asia-pacific markets mostly edged lower early on Thursday, as macroeconomic uncertainty weighed on sentiment. Sentiment took a hit after US Federal reserve chair Jerome Powell warned of inflation risks from tariffs. Powell also signaled rate on hold for now.
