Nepal PM Balendra Shah Vows To Resolve Border Issues With India

Nepal Prime Minister Balendra Shah used his first address to Parliament to emphasise dialogue and diplomacy in resolving border issues with India. Stressing the importance of peaceful engagement, Shah said outstanding disputes between the two neighbours can be addressed through constructive talks. He also noted that India has expressed its willingness to remain open to dialogue. The remarks are being seen as a positive signal for bilateral relations, with both countries sharing deep historical, cultural and economic ties despite periodic boundary disagreements.
