Nepal: China-gifted Covid vaccines to be disposed

Nepal is set to dispose of 4 million expired Covid-19 vaccine doses that were gifted by China in March 2022. The vaccines were never approved by Nepal’s health authorities and remained unused. A Kathmandu-based firm has now agreed to incinerate the expired stock.
