NASA and the Indian Space Research Organization, or ISRO, are joining forces to launch a groundbreaking Earth-observing satellite. NISAR, short for NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar, is a first-of-its-kind collaboration designed to monitor the Earth's surface with extraordinary precision.
