Kawariyas across India travel to Haridwar to collect holy Ganga water
Kanwariyas carry Ganga water to offer at Shiva temples during Shravan. Dressed in saffron, they walk barefoot or use decorated palanquins. This year, Sawan Shivratri falls on 23 July.
