Jammu & Kashmir Elections: Voting begins in phase one of J&K polls

For the first time in a decade, seven districts of Jammu and Kashmir, situated on both sides of the Pir Panjal mountain range, will participate in an Assembly election. Phase 1 polling in the Union Territory is scheduled for September 18, 2024.
