Jagannath Rath Yatra: stampede near Puri temple kills three, injured shifted to hospitals

At least three people died and several others were injured in a stampede at Saradha Bali near the Gundicha Temple in Puri on Sunday. The incident occurred during the annual Rath Yatra, which draws lakhs of devotees from across the country. According to reports, the stampede happened between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. when a large crowd surged forward to witness the deities on their chariots. The injured were taken to hospitals with help from volunteers, government agencies, and private organizations.
