Israel Increases Attacks on Hezbollah Amid Lebanon Ceasefire Talks

#Gravitas | Hezbollah is evaluating a US-Israeli ceasefire proposal as diplomatic efforts to end the conflict increase. U.S. ambassador Lisa Johnson conveyed the proposal to the Lebanese authorities on Thursday night. Officials are “hopeful” Hezbollah will accept the terms and plan to respond by next Monday. While ceasefire talks continue, Israeli strikes have intensified, targeting Shia-majority areas where Hezbollah is influential, as well as buildings sheltering displaced families outside those regions.
