Israel-Hamas war: Hamas claims it lost contact with two hostages in Gaza City

Palestinian militant group Hamas’ armed wing said that it had lost contact with two Israeli hostages in Gaza as Israel intensified its strikes in the region in the last 48 hours. It further called on the Israel Defence Forces to push back its troops and halt air sorties for 24 hours starting 6 pm (local time) today to make attempts to rescue the hostages.
