Iran-India: The Government of The Islamic Republic of Iran has suspended the visa waiver facility available to ordinary Indian passport holders, effective November 22, 2025. This decision comes after multiple incidents where Indian nationals were lured to Iran on false employment promises or transit assurances and were subsequently kidnapped for ransom.
