India's Defence Ministry has signed its biggest-ever defence deal worth ₹62,000 crore with HAL to manufacture 156 Light Combat Helicopters (LCH) 'Prachand'. The Indian Army will receive 90 helicopters, while the Indian Air Force will get 66. Designed for high-altitude operations, 'Prachand' enhances India's air combat capabilities.
