India enters the quantum race | Andhra Pradesh builds its quantum valley

India is entering the global quantum race, and Andhra Pradesh wants Amaravati to become the country’s Quantum Valley. Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has announced a ₹500-crore deep-tech venture fund, an IIT Research Park and the launch of five Q-Shiva quantum systems. Amaravati is also targeting the start of its first quantum-computing operations in February 2027.
