India: After Air India's mega deal, Indigo expected to order 500 jets

After the news of its significant aircraft order, IndiGo is preparing to compete with Air India. According to IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers, the airline aims to receive deliveries of about 50 aircraft in FY24 and extend its local and global network by adding 115 new destinations to its current 104.
