India: 35-foot tall Shivaji statue collapses in Maharashtra's Sindhudurg district
A statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi around nine months ago in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district, collapsed on Monday. An FIR claims that the nuts and bolts used in constructing the structure had rusted. CM Eknath Shinde has ordered a probe into the incident.
