High frequency of aircraft disasters: Why Nepal faces persistent crashes

Nepal has a high frequency of aircraft disasters, with at least one air disaster occurring every year since 1953. There have been 18 disasters involving planes or helicopters since the beginning of the 2000s, resulting in over 900 deaths.
