Funding dries up for startups

In a year where a large portion of the tech industry has resorted to cost cuts, startups have been severely impacted. Investors were ready to finance the expansion of fledgling firms at any cost during the pandemic boom. Now that fresh financing rounds have all but vanished, budget cutbacks are the norm of the day.
