French President Macron calls for calm to resolve Ukraine crisis

French president Emmanuel Macron became the first leader of a major western power to meet Vladimir Putin since Russian troops near Ukraine. Macron called for calm as he shuttled between Moscow and Kyiv and said that he believes that steps can be taken to de-escalate the crisis.
