French commandos board 'deliver' after alleged violations

A fresh maritime standoff has emerged after French commandos boarded the tanker Deliver, a vessel suspected of being linked to Russia’s so-called “shadow fleet.” French authorities said the tanker was operating under an invalid Cameroonian flag and was intercepted over alleged violations. Moscow strongly condemned the operation, calling it illegal and likening it to piracy, while vowing to protect Russian maritime cargo. The incident has intensified scrutiny of global shipping routes and sanctions enforcement.
