Tens of thousands of students, teachers and parents have taken to the streets across France, blockading hundreds of high schools in cities including Paris, Bordeaux, Marseille, Nantes, Lyon and Strasbourg. The protests mark the biggest escalation yet in the country’s growing education crisis.
