The US economy is currently experiencing a rare phenomenon: Strong growth alongside persistent inflation. The latest data shows GDP expanding at 2.4%, fuelled by a surge in hiring with over 300,000 new jobs added in march. However, inflation remains stubbornly high, well above the federal reserve's 2% target for the march quarter.
