Delhi: AQI Breaches 400-mark in India's National Capital, Grap-III Measures Implemented
Delhi's air quality reached hazardous levels as the Air Quality Index (AQI) breached the 400 mark, triggering Stage III of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-III) implemented by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM). This “Severe” category pollution led to immediate bans on non-essential construction, demolition, and mining activities, alongside restrictions on older diesel and petrol vehicles (BS-III and BS-IV).
