China ports set record amid US tariff race

In just one week, Chinese ports handled 6.7 million containers, a new record. The reason? Exporters are racing to ship goods before US Tariffs kick back in and with a temporary trade truce set to expire by mid-august, and new tariffs expected as early as next week, Beijing’s logistics network from seaports to airstrips, is operating at full capacity.
