BREAKING: Union Minister Hardeep Singh Says Gas Samples Found to Be 87% Methane
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri shared on Twitter that natural gas has been discovered in the Sri Vijayapuram 2 well located in the Andaman Sea. This well is situated about 17 kilometers (9.20 nautical miles) off the eastern coast of the Andaman Islands. The water depth of the well is 295 meters, meaning it is located in waters that are 295 meters deep from the sea surface. The target depth for drilling was set at 2,650 meters.
