Bangladesh's Yunus Meets Pakistani PM Sharif, Calls For SAARC Revival
Bangladesh chief adviser Muhammad Yunus has called for reviving Saarc as a primary platform for regional cooperation in South Asia. Meeting with Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif at the UNGA in New York, they discussed enhancing bilateral ties, potential investments, and youth exchange programs. They also considered renewing foreign secretary-level talks and reactivating their joint commission.
