Australia scraps a 770 million-dollar space satellite programme amid an economic slowdown

In an effort to cut down costs, Australia has scrapped what could have been a key part in the development of the country's space industry. The $700 million programme was set to launch four satellites between 2028 and 2033. However, budget repair is the current goal of the government. The federal budget of the year lays focus on relieving cost-of-living in the heat of rising inflation.
