American airlines group plans to lay off 656 workers who assist customers with misplaced baggage and other travel-related issues. The responsibilities of these staff are planned to be merged into other teams. The carrier announced on Monday that the move will impact 321 workers in Dallas-fort worth and 335 workers in Phoenix. This represents 8.2% of the roughly 8,000 staff members tasked with handling client complaints.
