The Al-Aqsa mosque has been a flashpoint for quite some time now. Muslims refer to it as al-Haram al-Sharif, or Noble Sanctuary, while it is Temple Mount for the Jews. There have been protests, clashes & riots at the mosque site after Israel took control of East Jerusalem in 1967. But what is the conflict?
