Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday (Dec 22) vowed to bring more destruction to Ukraine in retaliation for a drone attack on a high-rise apartment block in the city of Kazan on Saturday.&nbsp;

Putin said that Ukraine will face many times more destruction and will regret this.&nbsp;

"Whoever, and however much they try to destroy, they will face many times more destruction themselves and will regret what they are trying to do in our country," Putin said while commenting on the attack on Kazan during a televised government meeting.&nbsp;

Russia’s Defence Ministry said that its forces had intercepted 42 Ukrainian drones launched overnight at Russian territory.&nbsp;

It added that 20 of those were over the Oryol region, where the local governor said a blaze tore through the oil terminal.&nbsp;

There were no casualties reported from the site of the attack.

Russian President Vladimir Putin argued Thursday (Dec 19) that ‘interesting and more passionate’ content should be created to encourage people to ditch pornographic content. Putin admitted adult content was popular globally and just imposing bans and restrictions won’t fix the situation. "Porn sites are visited all across the world. It is not just an issue for us, but for everyone," Putin said.

Putin instead emphasised on creating more ‘engaging’ and compelling alternatives to porn.

The paper blamed the incumbent President&nbsp;Joe Biden Administration’s incompetent policies for the Ukraine war, which it described as an "avoidable crisis" that has entangled America in an endless war due to rejection of the 'America First' approach to national security.

The Democratic government's "risk-averse pattern" in arming Ukraine and failure of diplomacy with Russia has prolonged the war, noted the research paper Kellogg wrote with former CIA analyst Fred Fleitz.

Both Kellogg and Fleitz were chiefs of staff in Trump’s national security council from 2017 to 2021.

The authors said ending the war would require "strong, America First leadership" to deliver a peace deal and immediately end the hostilities.

Among its suggestions, the paper said the US 'would continue to arm Ukraine and strengthen its defences to ensure Russia will make no further advances and will not attack again after a ceasefire or peace agreement.'&nbsp;

"Future American military aid, however, will require Ukraine to participate in peace talks with Russia," it said.
