Another user wrote, “#Baaghi4 #Baaghi4Review An already mediocre film destroyed by CBFC. Almost all the actual gore shown in the teaser and trailer has been chopped off. Also, weak music further damages the film. They had one banger song, Marjaana and just used a few lines of it. On top of them, they made a love story with a few action scenes with this kind of music instead of an out-and-out action film. In terms of acting, Sanjay Dutt pretty much has an extended cameo. No focus on his character development, who had the potential to single-handedly save this film. The climax, which should have been the best part, looks all over the place.”

Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff get notice for 'deceptive' ad

Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Tiger Shroff will have to write back with their responses on their endorsement of an Indian pan masala brand, which claimed it has saffron in it. Acting on the complaint of a Jaipur-based advocate, a consumer disputes redressal commission in the north Indian city has issued a notice to the Bollywood actors. The complaint states that the advertisement is misleading and holds no truth.

The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Jaipur also issued a similar notice to Vimal Kumar Agarwal, chairman of JB Industries that manufactures Vimal Pan Masala, and directed all parties to appear before it on March 19.

The notice issued by commission chairman Gyarsilal Meena states, "The hearing date has been fixed at 10 am. If you fail to appear in person or through your authorised representative, the complaint will be decided ex parte on the above-mentioned hearing date.”

The commission also directed all the actors and the pan masala manufacturing company to file their responses within 30 days from the day of receipt of the notice.

Lawyer complains pan masala ad is "misleading"

The notice was issued on the basis of a complaint by Jaipur-based advocate Yogendra Singh Badiyal, who claimed the advertisement says "daane daane mein hai kesar ka dum (every grain of the said pan masala has the power of saffron)".

In his complaint, he says that the "applicant number one (JB Industries) is making crores of rupees and the common people are regularly consuming the pan masala which is harmful for health and inviting serious diseases like cancer.”

The lawyer continued that the advert is luring the public to purchase the brand "in the name of saffron-containing gutkha".

"Common people are getting confused in the name of saffron while there is no mixture of any substance like saffron in the said product," he said.

“The price of saffron in the market is Rs 4 lakh (400,00) per kg and the pan masala costs only Rs 5”, he said.

"The saffron cannot be mixed, leave alone its fragrance," he added.

It's a casting coup that only Rohit Shetty could have pulled off. The Singham Again trailer was launched amid great fanfare on Monday in Mumbai. The film's nearly 5-minute long trailer features the film's impressive star cast - which includes Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Bajirao Singham, Kareena Kapoor playing his wife, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi and introduces Deepika Padukone as Lady Singham and Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya Pattnaik. The film has Arjun Kapoor as the main antagonist.

The 5-minute-long trailer- the longest trailer of any Hindi film to date- is action-packed and gives a sneak peek into the high-octane drama that is all set to unfurl on screen. The film draws parallels to Ramayan with Ajay Devgn getting his army in place to rescue his wife Kareena Kapoor from the clutches of modern-day Ravana - played by Arjun Kapoor.

The film's impressive line-up of actors comes close only to Marvel's Avengers perhaps as it manages to feature Bollywood's top stars together in a film. The trailer launch was attended by Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Ravi Kishan.

Typical of Rohit Shetty's style of cinema, Singham Again trailer is full of dialogue baazi, action, stunts and comedy. The film also features Jackie Shroff and Ravi Kishan in key roles. Several media reports also suggest that Salman Khan will be making a cameo in the film as Chulbul Pandey, the character he played in Dabangg series. However, there is no official confirmation of this.

The film is all set to release on Diwali, the same day as Kartik Aaryan-Triptii Dimri-Vidya Balan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hits the big screen. Both films will be released on November 1 in theatres across India.

The film starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles, released in theatres on April 11 and was a box office dud.

About the complaint

The complaint was filed at Bandra Police Station on September 2, 2024, and accuses Ali Abbas Zaffar, Himanshu Mehra, Ekesh Ranadive, and others of multiple serious offences, including fraud, cheating, misappropriation of funds, criminal conspiracy, money laundering, and harassment.

The complainant states that Zaffar and his associates mismanaged the film's production, leading to significant financial losses. They have also been accussed of inflating budgets, receiving kickbacks, fabricating invoices, and siphoning funds through a shell company based in Abu Dhabi.

Bhagnani also claims that despite assurances, the accused mishandled contracts failed to provide proper financial records, and demanded unapproved payments.

This, along with claims of extortion, coercion, and defamation, has led Bhagnani to seek legal action.

Complaints against producers

A few days earlier media reports stated that Ali Abbas Zafar had accused the producers of not paying him ₹7.30 crores, which he said was his fee for directing Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Zaffar is not teh only one to have complained of non payment by the Bhagnanis. In June this year, several crew members accused the production house, Pooja Entertainment, for not clearing their payments on time. A crew member, Ruchita Kamble, took to Instagram to pen a long post where she urged others not to work with the production house. Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) president BN Tiwari also claimed that Vashu Bhagnani owes over ₹65 lakh to crew members who worked on three of his films-Mission Raniganj, Ganapath and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Later responing to the allegations, Jaccky, In an official statement said that Akshay Kumar has asked for his payments from the film, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, to be on hold until the entire cast and crew have been paid.

Pooja Entertainment, set up in 1986, is known for backing projects such as Coolie no.1, Biwi no.1, Shaadi no.1 and Jawaani Jaaneman.

While Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was made on a budget of Rs 350 crore (Rs 3.5 billion) it only managed to earn Rs 59.17 crores (Rs 600 million approx). The film also starred Prithviraj Sukumaaran, Alaya F and Manushi Chillar.

Tiger Shroff on why his character in Ganapath is not a usual action-hero

Indian action superstar Tiger Shroff is popularly known for his magnificent screen presence which comes along with the number of hours he spends in the gym. But not many know that despite the number of hours he spends building his muscles and maintaining them in the gym, he doesn't let go of his cheat days easily.

Recently while talking about his cheat meals and how passionately he eats food on Sundays, he said, "Har Sunday ko mera cheat day hota hai!! (Every Sunday is my cheat day) Chocolates, ice creams, pizzas, vada pav- I mix everything up and eat."

He added, "4 to 5 scoops of ice creams minimum on a cheat day and a half to 1 kg of cake, I could eat alone. Hence, I have a huge sweet tooth!!”

Tiger Shroff shares first look from 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'

If reports are anything to go by, Bollywood actress and former Miss World Manushi Chhillar will be sharing screen space once again with Akshay Kumar in 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan'. Latest reports suggest that the actress has joined hands with Ali Abbas Zafar for the mega-budget two-hero action-packed entertainer, which also stars Tiger Shroff.

Produced by Vashu & Jackky Bhagnani, the film will have an international action team on board and is touted to be one of Hindi cinema’s biggest actioners. It will go on floors in January 2023. Other than Manushi, the film will reportedly have two more female leads, according to Pinkvilla, and it will be shot in India, Europe, and even UAE.

The film is expected to hit theatres in December 2023. More details about the project are yet to be revealed.

Manushi shared screen space with Akshay in her debut film 'Samrat Prithviraj', which was directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film didn't do well at the box office and turned out to be a dud.
